How I believe in

I believe in things that I perceive to be true.

I believe in diversity-because I know it to be true.
Policy makers believe in standardization-because they expect it to be simple.

I believe in help for the minority- because I felt it to be true.
Economists believe in survival of the fittest-because they thought it to be efficient.

I believe in reverance for agreed rules-because I take it to be true.
Childhood gangstars believe in wanton rebellion-because they take it to be .

I believe in relativity-because I understand it to be true.
Racists believe in supremacy-because they understand it to be right.

  1. Good poem and interesting structure, but it seems like it isn't finished. The last line isn't what the reader should leave with. The last line, I think, should be about what you believe - your core belief perhaps. At least one more verse about YOU.
